Report in brief from 2021/22:
- A Diamide based spray program guidelines poster was developed on Rice (S. incertulas), Shallot (S. exigua), Hot pepper (S. litura & H. armigera), and Cabbage (P. xylostela & C. pavonana).
- The plan is to adjust the communication format to be a better fit for digital social media platforms and to make it more understandable for the farmers & retailers
- CropLife India member companies have agreed previously to voluntary include MoA guidance on product labels but following advocacy by CropLife with regulators and government, this is now mandatory on all labels.
- Various IPM/IRM webinars have been carried out or are planed in the coming year including onSpodoptera exigua, Spodoptera frugiperda and possibly Thrips parvispinus,
